I think this might turn out to be something pretty awesome. VH1 is looking to make some headway with bio-pics of musicians and pop culture icons. First up? The Grammy winning trio TLC. That’s right, the story of Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, Lisa “Left-Eye” Lopez and Rozanda “Chili” Thomas is coming to us. T-Boz and Chili have signed on as consultants of the film and are also executive producers.
Unfortunately, fame and success are often shadowed by pain and heartache and TLC certainly experienced their share. Tionne suffered from sickle-cell disease, Lisa accidently burned down her then-boyfriend and football star Andre Rison’s home in a moment of heated passion. The trio also suffered a very humiliating and public bankruptcy suit at the very height of their career success. This prompted them to hold a press conference about the ins and outs of accounting in the record industry to let the public know how this could happen to multiplatinum, Grammy-winning superstars when everyone assumed they must be extremely wealthy.
In the midst of what the ladies were experiencing as individuals, a public dispute between Lisa and her group-mates Tionne and Chilli arose when she felt she had been all but cut out of their third album, FanMail. Fortunately, the ladies had patched things up and were working on their fourth album, 3D, when tragedy struck and Lisa was killed in a car accident while on a spiritual retreat down in Honduras. In a tribute to Lisa, TLC gave one final concert in June of 2003 at the Zootopia concert inNew York’s Giants Stadium where Tionne and Chilli performed on stage to 60,000 fans in front of a video screen playing videos of Lisa performing the same songs right along with them.
This is gonna be very emotional, I can tell. And the story sounds like it will be a great one and deserves some actors who will be able to pull this off. I STILL haven’t forgiven Flex Alexander for that Michael Jackson movie…*HARSH SIDE EYE* No actors have been assigned yet, since it’s still in it’s early stages but let’s discuss this, after the jump…

Kris Humphries does not want a divorce from Kim Kardashian, he wants the slate wiped clean. Meaning, he doesn’t want to use the legal system as a publicity tool for Kim Kardashian’s high profile divorce, he wants a quiet private annulment, so he can move on with his life and act like the marriage never existed. I always wondered why Kim Kardashian would seek a divorce instead of an annulment after being married only 72 days, and then it hit me. DUH! A divorce is public record, meaning TMZ and any other news site can get their hands on the details of the divorce and release it to the public. So in other words an open divorce equals free media publicity.
If Kim Kardashian really wants to keep things private she could request an annulment or seal the divorce proceedings from the public. I bet after watching the first episode of Kim and Kourtney, it’s became clear to Kris Humphries, that his marriage to Kim was…

Talk show host and former radio personality and habitual linestepper Wendy Williams got the attention of Queen Oprah, to everyone’s surprise. Can you imagine Oprah sitting on the couch, with a bowl of Special K, watching Wendy’s show? I know I can’t. Anyway, a few weeks ago Wendy Williams reported that Oprah’s BFF Gayle King was leaving the O Network to go to CBS. Gayle will be co-hosting The Early Show with Charlie Rose.
Wendy immediately wondered what this meant for the friendship between Oprah and Gayle:
“I’m sad that she’s leaving Oprah,” Williams bemoaned. She also criticized King for her burgeoning friendship with 50 Cent, who has dissed Winfrey before. She wondered, “Gayle, is it the beginning of the end with you and Oprah? Please say it ain’t so. You guys have been friends since you wore the same underwear during that snowstorm in Baltimore.”
She kinda just snowballed all of it into a big conspiracy! LOL But yesterday, Wendy read a handwritten letter from Oprah which addressed her speculations. I love that. In a world where texting and emails are commonplace, it’s nice to see someone take time to address another in writing. So was Wendy correct in her fears? Check out the video, after the jump…
