Young pop star and possibly someone’s “baby daddy” Justin Bieber did a rap over the Otis beat on Power 106 FM last week. Yeah. Let that marinate for a minute. So Source Magazine decided to let producer/rapper Jermaine Dupri know that he needed to check it out. His immediate response?
Laughter ensued! I don’t blame JD not one bit either! Jermaine says that because Justin is a singer, rapping is “not cool” (IE, folks should stay in their lane) but he’s not surprised he rapped.
…as a person who creates artists, I believe that, at some point and wherever he’s trying to go in life…I think that he does it just because he’s young and the youth…the youth…all they care about is Lil Wayne, man. They don’t care about shit else. Like, his age group, they don’t care about…they don’t LISTEN to anything else but Lil Wayne, know what I’m saying?

We are up early this morning to bring you the nominations LIVE from the PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS 2012. Host Kaley Cuoco, along with Elisha Cuthbert, Julianne Hough, Joe Jonas, Jennifer Morrison, Sharon Osbourne and Busy Philipps will announce the nominations for PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS 2012 at The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills.
The PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS continues to be the only major awards show voted on entirely by the public for fan favorites in music, movies and television. The People’s Choice official website, houses the voting platform where fans determine the categories, nominees and winners for the annual awards show.
PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS 2012 will air live from the Nokia Theater L.A. Live on Wednesday, Jan 11, 2012 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The jury has just announced the guilty verdict for Dr Conrad Murray, who was on trial for involuntary manslaughter in the death of singer Michael Jackson. Dr Murray remained emotionless as the crowd outside of the courthouse erupted in cheers.
Dr. Murray’s last tweet seems sort of cryptic now. While this verdict won’t bring MJ back to us, this will hopefully provide closure for the Jackson family. Check out LaToya Jackson’s tweet before heading to the courthouse, after the jump…plus check out the video:
Wow. Talk about time not being kind. Actor Gary Dourdan, once the handsome Shazza Zulu on A Different World and Warrick Brown on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. According to TMZ, Dourdan was arrested for allegedly breaking the nose of his ex girlfriend in Venice, California.

Poor Draya can’t catch a break!!! According to Miss Jia, Draya Michele is upset over a “private” home movie that someone is threatening to release to the media. Draya is so upset that she’s canceled a paid appearance. Draya has also apologized on twitter to her family and friends because this sex tape could destroy her reputation and new found career, as well as hurt her love ones…including her son.
Although Draya is not the most forth coming about everything in her past (who would be on national TV), she is still my favorite on Basketball Wives LA. I feel like Draya genuinely wants to change in order to make a better life for her son. But it’s hard growing up and maturing in the spotlight because someone will always try to remind you of your past transgressions. Usually I give people the side-eye when it comes to leaked videos, but I don’t see how this tape could benefit Darya’s career this point in her life. Saturday Night Live’s skit on the Kardashian family and Kim’s wedding to Kris Humphries was worth staying awake for. You can NOT miss out on watching this skit, it is definitely a must see!!! I haven’t laughed this hard since D-in-a-Box. The impressions were spot on, and Kristen Wiig playing Kris Jenner (Mama Kardashian) had me ROTFLMBO! Poor Kris Humphries, never even gets a chance to speak; he just grunts.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta is back, and guess what, they have a new wife this season. Not a new cast member, but a new soon-to-be wife. Swizz Beatz was also in attendance; he escorted his wife on red carpet. Swizzy and Alicia Keys pulled off another successful gala all in the name of charity. Congrats!
