Love is definitely in the air with Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa. According to Miss Jia, Amber was interviewed on Atlanta’s Hot 107.9 by The Rickey Smiley Morning Show. During the interview, Amber talked about her break up with Kanye West, how her family and friends prepared for those infamous leaked photos and her relationship with Wiz Khalifa, including a few of the nicknames they have for each other.

She also talked about her mother’s love of weed smoking and how she thinks of Wiz as “the son she never had”. That’s…sorta…sweet. Check out the short clip of the interview, after the jump…

Last night the American Music Awards came to us live on ABC. And I gotta say, looking at some of these winners I have to wonder what the exact process is for picking a winner. Some of these are random as hell, but I congratulate the winners anyway!

Nicki Minaj walked away with 2 AMAs, for Favorite Rap Artist and Favorite Album for Pink Friday.

Jennifer Lopez won for Latin Music: Favorite Artist and looks freaking fabulous. I hope I’m this fine at 41 years of age too!

Look at Jennifer Hudson looking great in this silver! WERK! Check out more red carpet photos, including Ludacris and Mary J Blige, plus check out some performances, after the jump…

This weekend, 5x NBA Champion Kobe Bryant, joined the United Way of Greater Los Angeles for the 5th Annual HomeWalk to end homelessness, a 5k run and walk commencing in Exposition Park, in downtown Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles Lakers super star was the event’s Honorary Chair and kicked off the event that featured approximately 10,000 participants.

Kobe is using his time during the NBA lockout wisely to bring awareness that there are more than 51,000 homeless men and women in Los Angeles County and nearly one-quarter of them are chronically homeless. Kobe has supported the United Way by helping them to reach more residents concerned about fighting homelessness, and his charity has done great work with homeless children.

Friday is upon us, yet again! Woot woot! And what greater way to start the weekend off with some eye candy! Hot mommy of one and actress Paula Patton is gracing the cover of Complex magazine this month. And it’s safe to say that Robin Thicke wakes up every morning, knowing he’s won.

Wow! Paula talks about her marriage with Robin, noting that the key that makes it work is “desire”:
There’s no recipe. There’s no other way to say it—it’s true desire. We’re crazy enough that we just keep wanting to be together. We just don’t not want to be with each other. [Laughs] It doesn’t mean that we don’t have our ups and downs. We just don’t want to be with anyone else. That’s how we keep it together: desire.
Paula also discusses her role in the upcoming Mission Impossible movie, along side Tom Cruise.
Making Mission: Impossible was a dream come true. It challenged me as an actor because it’s so technical. Any time you’re challenged you get better. I learned so much from working with Tom Cruise—it was remarkable. Also, I got to do my own stunts, and that felt more freeing than anything I’ve ever done. To be able to be that physical was exciting.
I don’t know about you all but I’m drooling over Paula. *activates new girl crush* See more steaming hot photos plus the Mission Impossible movie I wish Hollywood would make, after the jump…

This is a definite sign that technology is helping to bring musicians and fans together. Rapper Ice T announced via Twitter that his next album, The Hood Manual, will be composed of tracks submissions from fans and followers. Ice will be listening to track submitted and if it’s a beat he likes, then he’s ready to do business with you.

So break out those beat maker programs and start submitting! Is this going to be a trend that picks up in the music world? I don’t know. But if it does, I’m not sure it that’s the best move. Read my little take on this and let me know what you think, after the jump…
