Rapper Lil Boosie hasn’t been having the Best Week Ever. Not one bit. His woes actually started last June, when Boosie was indicted on first degree murder charges. And just yesterday, he was sentenced to an eight year jail sentence for unrelated drug smuggling charges.
Boosie pled guilty to smuggling codeine, marijuana and ecstasy into two state prisons. He was already serving a sentence for one drug charge and was caught smuggling other drugs (with the help of some prison guards). SMDH! That’s doing the utmost! Boosie admitted to being a drug addict in a statement to TMZ, but he’s seeing the silver lining in this dark cloud…
Actress Kyla Pratt announced recently on 106 & Park that she has a one year old daughter, Lyric Kai. People were very surprised to learn that not only does she have a daughter but no one in the media knew or reported the pregnancy. Since Pratt’s announcement on BET, people have been digging up dirt and making negative comments regarding her daughter’s father, Danny Kirkpatrick. Rumors have been circulating that Danny is a male stripper. People have also been making smart comments about Kyla intentionally hiding her pregnancy. So Miss Pratt decides to set the record straight on Tumblr, and defend her man.
Woke up this morning to some bullshit so i decided to blog about it. I announced a little over a month ago that i have a one year old daughter named Lyric. Ever since then there has been mostly negativity thrown our way. This is something that i knew would happen so THAT is why i delayed the process of sharing my happiness with this lovely world. I did not HIDE. I was out doing everything i normally do. Please believe i was not in the house looking at the wall waiting for time to pass. Jus because i didn’t publicize my pregnancy or try to make money off of it doesnt mean i am not proud of my daughter or her Father.
I don’t think Kyla Pratt owes anyone a thing, and it’s sad that she has to respond to such nonsense. I’m sure the only reasons she is speaking out is to protect her love ones. I have liked Kyla Pratt since I first saw her on In The House with LL Cool J. Although I am celebrity blogger, I do believe as long as celebrities aren’t playing publicity games like Kim Kardashian, creating a crime, or breaking up homes, we in the media should respect their privacy. Anyway, read the rest of Kyla’s letter when you continue…
Good news out of the Kardashian camp. According to E!Online, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are expecting another baby! So cute little Mason is gonna be a big brother. How cute is that?
In an exclusive statement to E! News, Kourtney says, “Scott and I are so excited to announce that we are expecting our second child and are thrilled to be expanding the love in our family.”
Kourtney is about 9 weeks along. While noting that most people wait until at least 12 weeks to share the happy news, Kourtney says she’s “confident” that the pregnancy will be a great and healthy one. Congrats! All of this is great timing. Kourtney started a new web series blog that kind of connects all of this! Check out Kourtney’s new gig, after the jump…
Rihanna reportedly left the bath water running while at Savoy Hotel in the UK, and flooded her luxury suite, a suite that rents for $3100 per night. How do you flood a $3100 a night room? At that price, doesn’t the hotel have people that will run the bath water for you.

Dr. Conrad Murray has just been stripped of his medical license and has received 4 years in jail for the death of Michael Jackson– the maximum sentence for manslaughter. In California time, he’ll probably only serve six weeks, but at least Murray will serve some jail time for violating his oath of office and killing another human being because he chose money over morality. The Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor is outraged that Conrad Murray hasn’t shown or expressed any remorse, and therefore denied Murray’s request for probation:
Talk about blaming the victim. Not only isn’t there any remorse, there is umbrage and outrage on the part of Dr. Murray against the decedent…The fact remains, Dr. Murray is offended that [his] patient died.
Michael Jackson died not because of an isolated one-off occurrence or incident. He died because of a totality of circumstances which are directly attributable to Dr. Murray, not some mistake or some accident in the early morning hours of 2009.
Get the details when you continue…Do you think justice was served? Does Conrad Murray deserve more time or less time?
