Do you remember Catya Washington from Bad Girls Club? If you can’t remember her, check out the picture to the left to jog your memory. Catya better known as Cat, was actually my favorite Bad Girl from season 5. Well Catya has just revealed to the world that she dated rapper Drake for more than a year, and left him to pursue a “career” on the Bad Girls Club. I’m not buying it, and I do not believe you Catya!!!

Oh, I believe Catya and Drake dated. Necole Bitchie uncovered some lyrics where Drake talks about his relationship with Cat from Philly. But I refused to believe Catya left Drake to pursue a “career’ on Bad Girls Club. First of all “career” and Bad Girls Club are two things that don’t even go together. I mean, wouldn’t it have been a better “career” move to stay with Drake?  Check out what Catya says about the situation in an interview with Hot 107.9 Philly.

Well, we broke up because I wanted to do the Bad Girls Club and that was a whole big issue too. I was like, “I have my own career and I need to move forward to and he was kind of like “I really don’t want you to go on there and embarrass me.” I was like, “Well, you know my career is my career. You know you’re Drake and you’re cool but I need to be cool too. I can’t sit around and try to get pregnant by you and be a baby mama. I need to make a career for myself.”

I appreciate her line of thinking and women should be independent. But between leaving the show before the season was over, and catching a case for possession of cocaine, mushrooms, ecstasy and a gun, I’m thinking having Drake’s baby would have been a better “career” move than a life of crime. After all having babies as a “career” move worked well for most of the Basketball Wives.
