Normally, I am sure Shaunie O’Neal is not the type of person to gloat, but the way Gloria Govan acted during season one of Basketball Wives regarding her relationship with Matt Barnes, I’m sure Shaunie O’Neal may be somewhere smiling just a bit. If you recall, Gloria Govan was bragging about how good she and Matt Barnes had it, and pretty much accused the other women on the show of being jealous of her relationship because she actually had a good faithful man. Months later the two called off their wedding. Weeks later after the wedding was called off, police were called to the house and Matt Barnes was arrested for domestic violence, even though he was the one with several scratches on his neck. Charges were later dropped. Not to mention Gloria Govan’s sister, Laura Govan, allegedly carried on an affair with Shaunie’s husband, and Gloria defended her sisters action, causing a serious rift between Shaunie and Gloria.

This is not a good look for the couple who have tried to spin their relationship in the media as all good, especially after calling off a wedding. What’s up with these Govan sisters and all the drama?

LOL! I was thinking the same thing that the whole Miami cast is smiling….Maybe Matt and Gloria were great at that time but things can change. Who knows they will probably get back together after a while. Laura is back with Gilbert after their public mess.
To me, both of them are about money and living a lavish lifestyle. Now they are making money on their own so they can afford to step out on their own. She will be paid until them boys are 18 so it don’t matter. HE did not want to marry her she was trying to force it. Laura on the other hand is so press for Gilbert that she would do anything to stay with him. You never hear her say anything about love she just be like she want him cuz they got 4 kids together. SMH….eeeeey it must be the MONEY!!
