R&B power house Vesta Williams was found dead today in her hotel room. The singer who is 54, although reports are saying she is 48, has passed away. At this time the reasons are unknown. Vesta of course is most famous for the hit Congratulations, a song many of us grew up listening to. I remember watching people on Apollo tackle this song, either you passed or failed and there was no in between. Her celebrity friends like Jackee Harry (Harris), Shanice Wilson, and Sheryl Lee Ralph expressed their condolences on twitter to @vesta4u.

Ebony Jackson and Josh Rendon were featured on an episode of 16 & Pregnant, a MTV reality series. Well today they are featured on many news channels for child endangerment and drugs. The two were arrested by officers from the Little Rock Air Force Base Office of Special Investigation during a legal search. Officers found synthetic marijuana and smoking pipes at the scene, but what really shocked them the most were the living conditions. According to the police report both human and dog feces were found all over the apartment including the floor, the walls, and clothing. The house was full of flies and maggots, and their two year old daughter Jocelyn also featured on 16 & Pregnant was living amongst this mess. Officers immediately took the child into custody along with three dogs.

I never thought I would ever see Mo Jackson in a bikini, especially after having three kids, but I was proven wrong by this picture via Necole Bitchie. Two weeks ago, I interviewed Jackie Christie of Basketball Wives LA, and during the interview she talks about her daughter Ta’kari Lee (21), and their estranged relationship. Well today, Ta’kari LeeChristie has released a blog putting her mother on blast for living a double life on screen and off the screen. I’m probably one of the only people that is not about to jump on the Ta’kari Lee band wagon, and call Jackie Christie a fraud. Anyone who is willing to put their family members or closest friends on blast for profit *whispers Evelyn too*, is a suspicious person in my book, especially while your family is going through a tragedy. I definitely don’t think this is what the grandma would want.
Ta’kari Lee is Jackie’s oldest daughter from a previous marriage, and Jackie acknowledges to me that their relationship is estranged. She does not go into details or put her daughter on blast, but simply says:
Ta’kari is 21. Ta’kari and I are estranged, she’s going through some things right now, but I love my daughter to death. I love all of my kids!
Ta’kari on the other hand wants you to know every dirty little secret about her mother, Dough Christie, and her aunts, too. Last night I was caught off guard with a sense of sadness when Troy Davis lost his last plea for a stay of execution from the Supreme Court. I saw so many people fight so hard, just to feel defeated by a system, a system that will kill another human being even when there is a shadow of doubt. I don’t know how that makes us any better than the person who we executed, and I don’t know how we could ask any of our citizens to work as a professional executor, putting their conscience and salvation on the line for our justice system. Last night was important for me because it made me realize I need to get off the fence on the issue of the death penalty. I need to seriously make up my mind. Am I for the death penalty and all that it means, or am I against the death penalty even when the crime is horrific.
Last night another man was executed here in Texas, and not very many people were fighting for his life, except the victim’s family. Lawrence Brewer was a white supremacist who dragged and killed a black man, James Byrd Jr., simply because he was a black man. Read More Here…
