I hope everyone have a great 4th of July Monday, and remember what this day is really about. Have fun and celebrate, but most importantly be safe:
You have to love a nation that celebrates its independence every July 4, not with a parade of guns, tanks, and soldiers who file by the White House in a show of strength and muscle, but with family picnics where kids throw Frisbees, the potato salad gets iffy, and the flies die from happiness. You may think you have overeaten, but it is patriotism. ~Erma Bombeck
So eat and drink your little hearts out, but remember those lives sacrificed for the freedom we have on this day. Many people lost their lives in battle, and many people lost their lives in the fight for freedom in roles both big and small.

There is nothing wrong with America that cannot be cured by what is right with America. ~William J. Clinton

I don’t see it to be honest, but hey, you never know where love will develop. Anyway check out the scoop according to TMZ: Read More Here…
Shaunie O’Neal wrote a special commentary for CNN discussing the negative roles of black women on reality TV. In the commentary, I kid you not, Shaunie O’Neal the executive producer of Basketball Wives said she was concerned about the negative portrayal of black women on reality TV. This should be interesting…
What isn’t so fun to watch, however, is this new generation of reality TV. It seems to be more about the drama and less about the storyline.
As you see on the show, I’m not a big supporter of the bickering, drink throwing and fighting, but when you put a group of strong, independent and vocal women who are going through or just came out of a bad relationship together, there’s bound to be a little drama.

But wait there’s more. Read Shaunie O’Neal’s entire article on black women and reality TV shows.

Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco hit the club last night in Atlanta at the Gold Room. Looks like the two are still together despite rumors that suggest their union is purely for publicity. Only time will tell, so there’s no use in arguing over whether or not this couple is really engaged…You have to admit, they do look kind of good together:
