I do not know what is going on in my city, Dallas, this past week. A man dies at a baseball game, Rihanna stage catches fire, and now Nicki Minaj has been assaulted by some guy she was staying with, but who is not her boyfriend. Dallas, TX is a great city where celebrities can slip in and chill, and go unnoticed until something bad happens. According to TMZ, Nicki Minaj and some unidentified man got into a heated argument that lead to violence, and a police report was filed.

So when Beyonce fired her father, Matthew Knowles, as her manager, it wasn’t quite as amicable as the press releases claimed. Both Beyonce and Matthew Knowles put out a press releases describing their split as mutual and a growing opportunity for Beyonce. BUT, according to court papers which are also public records, the split may have not been so nice. Matthew Knowles has been accused of stealing from his daughter, and filed court papers defending himself against “false accusations”.
To make a long story short. Beyonce is missing some money, and Papa Knowles is now fired…

Kelly Rowland hosted a party in Miami on South Beach at club Cameo. I hope she’s using the success of Motivation to her advantage, although I’m surprised I haven’t seen her performing in more places or on more shows. Not to compare the two, but Beyonce has already been on every Good Morning program in America, she’s been on American Idol, X Factor, and MTV specials, and I’m sure she’s about to hit the award circuit hard. Dallas/Ft. Worth has NOT been having the best week ever. Three days ago a father, Shannon Stone, died while trying to catch a ball at the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington tossed in the stands by Josh Hamilton. Last night in the very next game, Josh Hamilton, again, accidentally hit a fan in the head with a foul ball and sent the fan to the hospital. Bless his heart! Last, but not least Rihanna’s concert ended abruptly after a fire broke out above the stage.
They say things happen in threes…At least Rihanna has a sense of humor about it. I’m glad no one was hurt!
