50 Cent has been going and back with his record label, Interscope Records, for a while now about his upcoming album, Black Magic. On Wednesday, he went off against Interscope on Twitter announcing that he will not be putting out another album due to conflicts with the record company and their slow movement on his project:
Man I’m not releasing a album I can’t believe interscope is this f*cked up right now. I apologize to all my fans. I will work with other artist on there projects but I will not put out another album. They dropped the ball with me one time to many.
After his Twitter tantrum, 50 and Interscope supposedly resolved their issues. 50 told MTV, “By the time we got to go sit down with Jimmy Iovine, we talked a little bit and then I ended up having to go see Dr. Dre because we had the little issue. We sat down, we cleared that up, me and Dre, and then we said, ‘Let’s just get back to the music and do what we do.’”
But the issues rose to the surface again Wednesday, possibly spurred on by the release of Fiddy’s track, “I’m On It,” which was leaked by the record company. He then threatened to leak Dr. Dre’s new single, “Psycho”. Continue Reading →
