So A 51 Year Old Actor Marries A 16 Year Old Singer…

51 year-old, Doug Hutchison, most famous for his role in ABC’s Lost married 16 year old pop country singer, Courtney Stodden, and everyone is okay with this? How do you even let a 51 year old man get next to your 16 year old daughter in the first place? There are so many things wrong with this story that I don’t know where to begin. I have been waiting for Ashton Kutcher to pop up somewhere to tell the media they’ve been punked, but so far this is real news.

Obviously from the picture Courtney is very mature for her age, but I don’t know if she’s mature enough to marry a 51 year old man. Obviously her parents are outraged, right? Not even the case:

La Toya Jackson is spilling the family secrets again to promote her new book, Starting Over. In the new book La Toya reveals that sister, Janet Jackson, was such the tom boy growing up that Katherine Jackson made Little Janet attend charm school.

“Janet’s more on the tomboyish side – I was never that way,” La Toya told Piers. “She used to really get angry when we were younger and our mother would say, ‘You have to go to etiquette school’, and she would go, ‘It’s all your fault, because of you I have to go to etiquette school – you act too much like a girl!’ She was so defiant – she did not want to go

I’m excited to announce the LA version of Basketball Wives, which will actually include a real wife or two.

VH1 is broadening its own sports franchise, announcing that the channel will premiere spinoff series Basketball Wives LA on Monday, August at 8p. The cast is set to include Kimsha Artest (wife of LA Laker Ron Artest), Gloria Govan (fiancee of Laker Matt Barnes), Laura Govan (sister of Gloria Govan) and Jackie Christie (wife of former LA Clipper Doug Christie) and Imani Showalter (ex-fiancee of Charlotte Bobcat Stephen Jackson) as well as others. Ten episodes of the series are slated to run.

Many celebrity guests came out to support the event including, Ciara, Ron Artest, Akon, Jasmine Guy, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi Burruss, Sheree Whitfield and Phaedra Parks; Too Short, Dallas Austin, and Q from 112.
