Last night in New York, the cast of Jumping the Broom celebrated the opening of their film with a special press dinner at PRANNA Restaurant. While guests enjoyed their meals, cast members Pooch Hall, Mike Epps, Tasha Smith, and Laz Alonso talked about the film, as well as being typecast in Hollywood. Oprah Winfrey has a new haircut and I love it. During her “Look and Feel 20 Years Younger” episode which airs Wednesday, Oprah Winfrey debuts her new hair cut, which looks a lot like the First Lady’s bob. I actually think Oprah looks younger with a bob, and probably one of the best hairstyles I’ve seen on her since The Oprah Show started.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s twins enter the world on one of the biggest weekends in recent history, their 3rd year anniversary. I remember when Nick and Mariah first got married and we were all shocked to the core. We thought it was some kind of publicity stunt. Now, they are one of our favorite couples, with two babies, that are sure to become our favorite, too. The birth of the twins would have been the biggest news of the weekend had President Obama not captured and killed Osama bin Laden.
“Yep, we just had a wedding in the hospital,” Cannon wrote on Twitter Sunday. “Thank you to @THEREVAL who came all the way to the hospital to renew me and my wife’s vows and pray with our children.”

President Obama does keep an enemy list, and Rep Michelle Bachman, Fox News, the Birthers, and of course Donald Trump, were definitely on it. During the White House Correspondents Dinner, President Obama went in on his enemies, and Donald Trump was the butt of most jokes. I laughed hard, and I needed this laugh. This has been the best political week ever.
