Did Beyonce steal her Billboard’s “epic” performance from Italian singer Lorella Cuccarini? The answer is yes and no. According to a few fans of Lorella Cuccarini, Beyonce borrowed “heavily” from the Italian singer’s 2010 performance, which used the same touch screen interactive technology.

According to Beyonce, the answer is not exactly, she was inspired by Lorella Cuccarini after seeing a video on Youtube, and tracked down the makers of the technology to have them design a sequence for her, that was very similar in parts to the one performed by Lorella Cuccarini. How does that saying go, “Imitation is the best form of flattery.” Well, Lorella Cuccarini should feel real flattered. For the record, Lorella Cuccarini borrowed heavily from Michael Jackson, and I borrowed this post from Huffington Post (AOL) who borrowed it from yet another blogger. No big deal!
