Antonia “Toya” Carter has written a book, Priceless Inspiration; is starring in her own reality series, Toya’s Family Affair; and is engaged to a new man, Memphitz; yet people keep calling her “Wayne’s Baby Mama”. In an interview with VIBE, Toya Carter talks about how the labeling affects her as a woman, and why it’s so hard to shake the labeling. She even goes as far as to say she’s sick of Lil Wayne’s name.
People feel like I’m going to always be connected to Wayne because that’s how I was introduced into the spotlight, but I feel like I’m much more than just his baby mama. It’s just crazy because everything I try to better myself it’s always “That’s just Wayne’s baby mama.”

Gucci Mane should be the last celebrity on earth any woman would date. We know he is crazy, not because he has ice cream tattooed on his face, but because he has an ice cream cone with lightning bolts tattooed on his face (lmbo just think about it, then laugh). Not to mention the countless stints in jail, the arrests, oh and the psych ward. Celebrity friends Kelly Rowland and LaLa Vasquez are hanging out in Turks & Caicos. LaLa Vasquez tweeted a few pics of the two women enjoying the beach and fine dining. Aren’t they just adorable!
According to NY Post Page Six, Serena Williams is there, too, although she’s not in any of the tweets. Apparently, LaLa is filming a few scenes for her new reality show:
La La Vazquez is using a girl’s vacation to the Gansevoort Turks & Caicos with close friends Kelly Rowland and Serena Williams to film scenes for her VH1 reality show, “La La’s Full Court Life.”
The girls have been spotted gallivanting by the pool, relaxing on the beach and spending time on a boat while the cameras roll. Guests also staying at the resort have been asked to sign waivers so they can be used on camera.

I like Mashonda now that she is not with Swizz Beatz, she seems to have a confidence she didn’t have before. Sometimes you lose your sense of self, when in a relationship, but now that Mashonda is single, she can call all the shots. I hope she stays single for awhile, so we can see more pics like this…

I didn’t post the video of Nicki Minaj on stage with Lil Wayne last week, because the jelly wasn’t jiggling. The video shows Nicki Minaj giving her boss a lap dance on stage, but as controversial as that sounds, when I watched the video it really wasn’t exciting. I think Nicki may have had the Spanx on too tight because her backside wasn’t moving, at all. But on this new video the jam starts to jiggle like jelly, and Lil Wayne looks very happy indeed. This new video will put an end to the fake booty jokes or start more (IDK):

During an interview in the Elle Magazine music edition, Qwen Stefani discussed her fashion style and music compared to her contemporaries, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Katy Perry. In her statement she revealed that she was more of a tomboy focusing on the music, and less on being a sex symbol.
On whether Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Katy Perry have taken a page out of her playbook when it comes to style:
“Really? I don’t see myself in those girls. I usually put pants on. I see these girls as more going for the sex-symbol thing. I was more, in the band, like a tomboy. Of course, I think every girl is sexy, so there’s going to be a little of that. But I see a lot of younger artists going more toward the sexy thing.”
I just don’t know what to make of that statement. I hope I’m not reading too much into it, but it sounds like she’s taking a swipe at Rihanna and Lady GaGa. Gwen Stefani also talks about being very vain, and doing her own makeup, while holding on to her relationship with Gavin for years.
