During a recent interview with Street Disciplez Radio, Bobby Brown talks openly about his relationship with his daughter Bobbi Kristina, and all the drama that hit the internet regarding her drug use. Not only does he talk about Bobbi Kristina, but he opens up about finding love again with Alicia Etheridge and setting a wedding date. Last, but not least he defends Chris Brown against the media, and has some encouraging words for the young artist.
On Bobbi Kristina’s drug rumors:
That’s just some bull**, let me just let ya’ll know. That’s some bull**, and my daughter’s great. She’s doing just fine; she’s in the studio recording her album, and she’s getting ready to blow ya’ll’s mind. Trust me.

On Bobbi Kristina’s singing:
“Like I told a lot of people, she’s got her mother’s voice—even better than her mother’s—and she’s got my legs, so you think about that and you put that together.”
On meeting Alicia Etheridge and falling in love:
We met…Twenty something years ago, it was about dance crews. She was in a dance crew out here in Los Angeles, and New Edition was out here and we would rehearse in the same places. So we hung out together. No physical-ness happened. And when I met her again after I was in the mist of a divorce, she was actually at my wedding because she was a friend of mine. So in the mist of the divorce we just hung out and…it happened. I don’t know how else to put it, but ish just happened.
We just started communicating in other ways.
On his relationship with Whitney, and sobriety:
No matter what you think about what you have, if what you have is not right for you, it’s not right for you.
Six years man, I’m good with mine.
On the Chris Brown comparisons in the media:
I never put my hands on Whitney or disrespected her in any manner.
Chris Brown just give that brother a break, because we don’t know what happened between them in that relationship. We don’t know what went on between them, too. I think Chris Brown is a talented artist. I think Chris Brown deserves a second chance, no matter what. Because he’s young and he’s talented. Rihanna is doing her thing, Rihanna moved on and people need to move on with what happened between their relationship. And, I think Chris Brown deserves a second chance.
Compared to things I’ve been convicted of, Chris Brown is a baby. Chris Brown is a good brother and I wish him the best. We need an artist like him. Kids need an artist like him.
