I am one that thinks Lil Kim deserved (past tense now) respect. I also felt like Nicki Minaj borrowed heavily from Lil Kim in order to become famous. Therefore I get how the beef started. I also feel the media was very quick to deem Nicki Minaj the new Queen of Hip Hop before her first album even dropped. But with that said and done, I can’t explain Lil Kim’s recent behavior, other than she’s showing early signs of menopause.
If Lil Kim would have just recorded Black Friday and release the video below, we would have had a cute little beef in hip-hop. Lil Kim would have saved her throne for another year, and we all would have picked sides, until the next battle. Then, we would be anticipating the next Lil Kim project.

The Conservative horns are showing, as Wisconsin Governor, Scott Walker, tries to strip the bargaining rights of public workers like teachers and nurses in order to “balance” the state budget. Stripping public workers of bargaining rights has nothing to do with balancing the budget. This is just an attempt to win back rights for corporate cronies who really will create a slave system as they are in cahoots with the government against the people and their rights to be represented. Republicans act like they care about jobs and government spending, but what they really want to do is put power in hands of corporations and top tier earners, so that everyday people are limited in rights and power. Therefore the control of wealth and government lies in the hands of the rich and not the working or middle class. What this ultimately means is that if you are not an owner, you will work for what the corporation feels is fair. Without collective bargaining Conservatives can strip away minimum wage, overtime compensation, child labor laws, equal opportunity hiring, health and hazardous rights, pensions, employee health care, 401K contributions, and unemployment benefits. They call these things “socialism,” but if the people are powerless against corporations and greed through government, it then becomes modern day slavery or a fascist state.

Anyway Royce Reed is hosting a party during All Star Weekend in Los Angeles, and we just learned that Shaunie O’Neal, Gloria Govan, Evelyn Lozada, and Jennifer Williams have been banned from attending any events associated with Royce Reed or her reps. Tensions are so high between the cast mates that anyone who is beefing with Royce will not even be allowed on the guest list, and something tells me if Evelyn and Jennifer try to crash this party, access will be denied with a lot of drama.

I think I was able to thrive because my parents focused on me living a normal life. I went to college at Pepperdine University, and traveled the world. I stayed out of trouble. I never snuck into parties when I was under age, etc…I also have amazing friends that kept me grounded. The friends that I have are not “yes” friends. I have known them before I was “famous” and if I was to get out of line, they would put me right back in line. I have friends and family who are honest with, and they could care less about Hollywood.
