Eddie Winslow is not facing allegations of domestic violence, and his ex-wife Karrine “Superhead” Steffans is seeking a permanent restraining order due to physical violence with a belt. A few weeks ago, Karrine wrote an op-ed about being abused by the one she loves and constantly running back to him. The letter was not preceded in legal actions, so many people just tossed it to the side as a publicity stunt. However, the fact that not many will believe her and her troubled past, makes her an ideal victim for such predators. I’m not saying Darius McCrary is an abuser or a predator, either.
The weird thing is that Darius filed for divorce from Karrine Steffans back in March, so why they’re still messing with each other is a mystery to me…

Yesterday, the National Enquirer broke news that Aretha Franklin’s emergency surgery was due to pancreatic cancer. Being the credible source that they are, I decided to not post the story until a real source confirmed the news. Last night Detroit Free Press confirmed the news via Aretha Franklin’s cousin, so now I have decided to post it. There has not been an official word from Aretha Franklin, her publicist, or immediate family members. So for right now this is a rumor only confirmed via a cousin and a local news medium, and so let’s just keep Aretha Franklin lifted in our prayers.

They sure looked like a couple last night at the Knicks game in Madison Square Garden. I swear just last week, Brandy was on Joy Behar show looking for love. Now less than one week later, she’s on the basketball court canoodling with Terrence J like she’s already found it. Am I the only one that finds this suspect? I know it’s hard for celebrities like Halle Berry to enjoy the Christmas season when they have cameras tracking their every move. I understand it comes with the job, but sometimes they just want to be normal. Halle Berry is very friendly with paparazzi, but lately they have been getting too close and too personal. Just the other day boyfriend, Oliver Martinez, had to put a camera man in his place during a scuffle at Mirabelle restaurant in LA because the camera man kept making obscene comments just to get a reaction from Halle Berry. I appreciate the pictures, but I do believe the paparazzi need to keep their distance and not harass the good ones, and Halle Berry is very press friendly. I certainly wouldn’t want her to go into hiding…

Bishop Eddie Long of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, has changed his tune a little. The pastor who was so fired up to slay Goliath, is now quietly taking the fight behind closed doors in mediation to settle the civil lawsuit of sexual misconduct filed by four men from his congregation. I don’t know what happened between we are going to fight this to the end, to we are going to settle in private. I wonder what the Bishop is really trying to hide or avoid.
