I’ve been way to vocal about how the mainstream media treats Chris Brown, compared to other celebrities guilty of similar crimes, or worst. Brown’s recent twitter beef with Raz B proves my point, which really wasn’t that serious until TMZ decided to spin it as a homophobic rant against a helpless molestation victim. TMZ chose to ignore how the feud started in the first place, and they also chose to ignore how the “molestation victim” was constantly stalking and sending Rihanna very inappropriate tweets. I guess the hatred toward Chris Brown is personal, that many see it their personal responsibility to destroy his career. The beef was not really that serious, Chris Brown was not even angry, he was shooting the dozens, and that Peter Pan picture is simply funny! Oh well, I guess it’s a lesson learned. Shuck and jive for mainstream media or lose your career.
And, now look, Lil Fizz Raz B is being followed by the paparazzi as if he’s someone relevant. I guarantee they couldn’t name the one song he had as a solo artist. I’m actually upset Chris Brown apologized to TMZ. Raz B is a grown man, and not a woman, well that might be debatable…

I understand Diddy is single, and single men can run their affairs however they so choose, but if I were Cassie, I would be just a little jealous of Diddy spending quality time not with his kids, but with his ex, Kim Porter in St. Barts. I know not everyone could handle the lifestyle, but at least he’s not married, nor is he pretending to be ready for marriage. So the good thing about Diddy, you know what you’re getting into, I can honestly appreciate that. But, I would still be just a little jealous…

Speaking of, Miley Cyrus has new racy photos out that reminds me of Lady GaGa, this just shortly after getting caught smoking “legal” substances in a bong, or so she said. I don’t know what it is about Disney and their girls, but they will do anything to shed their squeaky clean image. Too bad most of them don’t turn out like Raven-Symone.

The Ivory Queen of Soul, Teena Marie passed away Sunday from what seems to be of natural causes. The R&B singer was discovered in her California home by her daughter, Alia Rose. Teena Marie suffered a major seizure last month, and perhaps complications from the seizure lead to her death, but right now the details are unknown. The day before her death, Teena Marie was actually on twitter wishing her daughter Happy Birthday & Merry Christmas.

The news of Lady T’s death obviously came as surprise to many. Her manager, Mike Gardner, was the first to report it to the public with very little details. My heart and prayers goes out to Alia Rose, also known as singer Rose Le Beau, to lose her mother at such a young age, and for the death to fall around both her birthday and Christmas.
If many of you frequent this blog, you will know I am an old soul, and grew up to music made by Teena Marie and many other soul artist. She has one the most unique voices of our time. It’s hard to believe that such a strong soulful voice, would come out of such a small person, who just so happened to be white. I can’t remember a card party growing up without some Teena Marie.
