Rihanna can talk about whatever she wants, whenever she wants because she’s a grown woman. Likewise she can stop talking whenever she wants, too. In a recent tweet addressing the topic of Chris Brown, Rihanna reveals that she’s tired of people asking her about the assault, and yet she keeps talking about the assault nearly two years later. I don’t get it, who’s making her talk.

In all the interviews there is no additional insight, no new comment on what lead up to that night, or no new information regarding their relationship and how it spiraled out control. Just pretty much what’s in the affidavit and how it made her feel and how happy she is to be free from it all. If she’s not going to use it to empower young women and if she doesn’t want to be a spokesperson for domestic violence, then what is she using it for? IDK, maybe talking is just therapeutic…

People won’t stop asking about it! It’s f-ckin’ annoying! Nobody wants to relive that, but some people can’t respect that! I get it, they wanna raise awareness to young girls! But it ends up just making me look bitter, pitiful, spiteful and angry!
