Wesley Snipes to Start Serving 3-Year Prison Sentence

According to the Associated Press, a federal judge ordered actor Wesley Snipes to surrender to authorities Friday so he can begin serving a three-year prison sentence for tax-related crimes.

The 48-year-old star was convicted in 2008 on three misdemeanor counts of willful failure to file his income tax returns. He was acquitted of two more serious felony charges.

Last night, a very pregnant Mariah Carey, took to the stage to perform her latest Christmas single ‘Oh Santa!’.

The legendary diva recorded her performance for the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting special in New York City. The special is set to air on Tuesday, November 30th on NBC.

Recently, Mariah revealed that her new holiday album is for her unborn child, as she said, “I was recording this when I found out I was pregnant!”

After I saw Quincy Jones with Ludacris on 106th and Park earlier this week, I grew a newfound love for his work which has spanned more than six decades. I am really excited about his latest project, “Quincy Jones’s Q: Soul Bossa Nostra”. I also love to see today’s musicians paying homage to those who have come before them.

In case you haven’t seen it, here is the new video from Ludacris, Naturally 7 and Rudy Currencewho pay homage to the legendary Quincy Jones. Luda originally sampled this track with his song “Number One Spot” and now, he’s back putting his twist on “Soul Bossa Nostra”.
