Sunday night many of us watched the premiere of Vh1 Football Wives, and Vh1 chose Dallas, TX as the epicenter of the drama. Pilar Sanders, is the star of the show for obvious reasons (married to Deion Sanders), but my favorite thus far is Chanita Foster. Chanita Foster is from Detroit (enough said) and she is married to football veteran George Foster. Between the two of them they have six kids, and not only is she a dedicated wife and mother, but she’s an entrepreneur (Wife Material Custom Jerseys, Rock Star Publishing, and Divine Diva Photography, etc.) and a philanthropist (founder of Beyond The Game Foundation).
Being a football wife means more than just living in a big house and driving a fancy car. For me it’s about being the best mom, wife, philanthropist and business woman and showing how a REAL football family lives.
These are all great reasons to adore Chanita, but honestly, I liked her because she’s not Pilar. Pilar Sanders was a little extra during the premiere of Football Wives, and I was happy to see Chanita standing up to Pilar’s diva antics.
