Pray for Aretha Franklin and her son, Eddie Franklin who was jumped by three men while at the gas station in Detroit, Michigan. Right now the motives are unknown, but the assault landed Eddie Franklin in the hospital where he is undergoing surgery.
DETROIT — Aretha Franklin’s son was severely beaten at a gas station in Detroit, the singing legend’s spokeswoman said Tuesday.
Eddie Franklin was attacked Monday night and was undergoing surgery at a hospital, Gwendolyn Quinn said in a statement. She said three people may have been involved in the attack, but did not address a possible motive.
Detroit police spokeswoman Eren Stephens said a female acquaintance was with Franklin just before the beating took place. The woman walked into the gas station, and when she returned, the assault had taken place, Stephens said.
Police said the woman then drove Franklin to the hospital, dropped him off and headed to a police station to file a report.
Stephens said investigators want to talk to Franklin about the circumstances of the attack once he’s able to speak to them. {Source}
The answer is of course not, but that didn’t stop Media Take Out from starting the rumor with one of their “exclusives”. Kim Kardashian put an end to those rumors via twitter. Although Chris Brown and Kim Kardashian would make an interesting couple publicity wise, the reality is there not dating at all.

I would be scared to be famous knowing PETA was lurking somewhere nearby ready to splash paint on someone’s fur. Mind you the damage is done, and now instead of one fur, you have to go out an buy another one toho replace the old fur PETA damaged.
I just don’t know what to make of Nicki Minaj’s interview with Complex magazine. Maybe I was reading it wrong, but she came across mean, like Kanye West style mean. In fact, she came across abrasive like she was annoyed by the questions from the interviewer. She pretty much told potential fans that if they didn’t get her style, they were stupid, and therefore she had to “dumb down” her music. She continued on to say that she didn’t have to explain anything in her music, if you don’t like it, don’t listen to it. I guess that means don’t buy it, either!
Complex: Everyone has this image of you as a cartoon character with outlandish wigs, but at our shoot today you were much more low-key.

Yesterday I attended one of my best friend’s bridal showers. I’m the Maid of Honor in her upcoming wedding. She looked so beautiful and was radiating so much love. And she deserves every bit of happiness that is coming to her. There were about 40 other women there…and guess what? They were all either engaged or married already. My friend Keisha and I were the ONLY single women there. We looked around at all these smiling faces and diamond rings. We endured the conversations about wedding planning, honeymoon talk etc. And the question that kept lingering in my head…Why isn’t that me?
I have a fantastic, but new, relationship right now (actually it’s by far the best relationship I’ve ever had). But being me, of course I’m dating someone on the other side of the world. I’m in my 30’s and I still haven’t fostered a relationship that would last through the end of time. Keisha and I talked about it on our way back to Brooklyn. She felt the same. We’re both attractive. Why aren’t we there, yet?
For me, I haven’t made decisions in my life that would lead up to a marriage. I’m incredibly independent, I’m a nomad, have different tastes and ultimately my relationship choices haven’t been conducive to sustaining a long-term partnership. What’s ironic is that for as far as I can remember, a loving partnership is all that I’ve ever consistently wanted out of life. So, why haven’t I attained that? Here are a couple of ideas that I came up with last night:
