Judge Says “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” Is Un-Constitutional; Should Gays Serve Openly?
U.S. District Judge Virginia Phillips declared that the US Military policy of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” violates first amendment rights of gay and lesbians serving in the military. Judge Phillips will issue an order to prevent the government from banning gays from the military under “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”. Should gays be allowed to openly serve in the military?
I had this debate with many of my friends and I just wanted to know your thoughts on the subject.
