Juicy Bits: Big Boi New Album; Condi & Aretha Duet; Don Cheadle A U.N. Ambassador
Here are a few updates on what’s going on with folks in Hollywood. Big Boi just released his new album, Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty. Nope, I don’t know what the album title means either. But you know Big Boi is known for stretching the limits of rap/hip hop and adding his own twists. So far, Big Boi’s album is getting great reviews.
Former U.S. Secretary of State, Condaleeza Rice will pair up with the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, on July 27th at the Mann Centre of Performing Arts. Condi will be playing the piano while Aretha will be singing Natural Woman and Say A Little Prayer. They will be helping to raise money for inner city children.
Don Cheadle was just named Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations. Cheadle has “vowed to fight climate change and promote environment conservation.”
