Alicia Keys did an interview with the Telegraph in the UK back in May and they published the interview yesterday. I’ll give you some highlights and you can read the full interview here.
What Keys says about friends:
I don’t have a ton of friends but the friends I have are great ones. I don’t have a huge family but the family I have is a great one. I have solid decent people around me and I believe that is all it is, because you will get destroyed if you have people bringing you down.

What Keys says about normalcy:
I don’t really have a gauge on it in the sense that I don’t know how it appears to other people. I don’t think I’m like that. I’m actually hell-bent on normalcy to the extent where people are like, “Alicia, you are delusional.”

What Keys says about being a mom-to-be:
I love children and I love family and I love that interaction. Because I had a really close relationship with my mother I understand that deep powerful love, and it’s so beautiful. To be a mother to a child is the most brilliant gift, it’s gorgeous.
I sincerely hope that it works out with Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys. Beatz’s history of leaving women when they’re pregnant, or once they’ve had his kids is a bit unnerving. Let’s hope Keys is ready for whatever is to come.

I think that she is delusional but we all are at some point in our lives. I just heard that she made Swizz B her manager and has fired her other management team. Now things are getting deep and only time will tell.

Well from what I read about this dismantle of management is that her team did not agree with this affair and felt that it was going to cause too much drama and baggage. Now we are hearing that all of her friends support her in her and Swizz new love but I think that is far from the truth so now comes the separation of many circles.

She is delusional, he said she surround herself with positivie, good, loyal people. We all know Swizz fits in neither catagory. On top of that, you pregnant from him and saying you are marrying him. I read he did have much to do with the fall out of her management team. Do 2 his craziness, and trying to take over things. But she got to make things looks as though, its going to work.

If you read the full press release it says that Jeff and Alicia are still together, they just changed the titles of their relationship. Jeff has several new artists to manage and Alicia is branching out with AK Worldwide which handles her business. Alicia’s mom and best friend Erika Rose are over that not Swizz. Swizz is a producer not a manager. Jeff and Alicia will continue to work on her music together which is all that matters, musically she is established where she does not need Jeff like a new artist does, so it makes sense. She is still under MBK/JRecords. Alicia, Jeff, and Krucial= her music success, she is not letting that go.

As far as her comment on being normal, the interviewer asked her what it was like to have all these people around her doing her hair and make up etc…and she responded the above. Basically she tries to keep things as normal as possible.

I agree with koko.It is her life and she can do as she please.At the same time her management team is the same and swizz is KNOWN as a PRODUCER NOT MANAGER so let it go it isn’t true.Need I remind you guys that was the same statement made when Beyonce and JayZ got marriage.He was her manager and that she fired her dad.NOT TRUE!!!So need I say because of swizz recent divorce alot of things are gonna get twisted in the media and alot of untrue things are gonna be said and you guys are falling for it big time!!!
