Gabourey Sidibe mom, Alice Tan Ridley, has been singing in subways for extra money to offset her income in order to support her family. Even after her daughter Gabby became famous for her role in Precious, Ms. Ridley continued singing in subways for tips. Well someone convinced Ms. Ridley to appear on America’s Got Talent, and Ms Ridley did her thing. She’s definitely a crowd-pleaser, and even the judges were blown away.
