When Alicia Keys won the award for best female artist, she hugged Swizz Beatz’ son, before going on stage. Twitter went crazy talking about Alicia Keys hugging Mashonda’s son. Well, Swizz Beatz has two sons and his oldest is by another woman, not Mashonda, and his name is Prince Nasir (9). Prince Nasir was the one with Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz at the BET Awards, and not Kasseem Jr (3) who was not even there.
UPDATE: So there is no drama here folks, keep it moving!

@MrsGrapevine, and that’s cool, but there is nothing that will ever make me feel like Alicia is some evil tramp who won’t like her step children. It doesn’t even seem right. Whatever she’s done it doesn’t change my idea of her personally, I know when I met her she just on set bear hugged me w/o me even asking her for one. That made me feel amazing because some stars aren’t going to do that, especially those on Alicia’s level.

I don’t think she’s evil or beyond redemption, I just think she’s human like most of us, and she did something wrong.
I have a hard time hearing her say uplift one another and be positive knowing that she was with Swizz, but at the end of the day people make mistakes, and it’s obvious they’re in love now.
So I think it’s time to move on and let it go.

There kids aren’t in any mess. This is to stop people from being messy. There are no rumors to start because the kid involved wasn’t Mashonda’s son. So the message to the people is stop trying to start trouble, where trouble doesn’t exist.

The childs name is Nasir. Not prince Nasir and he is 10 yrs old. He is not mashondas son! His mother is an Attorney who chooses to stay out of the spot light. Her and Alicia have a great relationship. Leave the kids out of this.
