Every time I work on path to not being overly opinionated about the Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys’ love triangle, something pops-up in the press that sets me back a few steps. I am trying not to be objectionable and give Alicia Keys the benefit of the doubt, but this new article in Fabulous Magazine, just adds fuels to the fire. I just can’t see her the same. I’m not buying into this Superwoman branding or the uplifting thing.
In a recent interview when asked about being in love with Swizz Beatz, Alicia Keys couldn’t stop gushing about her private life and how great it is:

The monogamously challenged Tiger Woods and his very soon to be ex- wife Elin Woods, both put on brave faces as they attended the birthday party of their 3-year old daughter Sam. Of course, Tiger and Elin arrived and remained pretty much separate for the whole affair, they also have a 17-month old son Charlie. It’s a slow news day, so why not post about Darius McCrary taking his wife or ex-wife Karrine Steffans to the 37th Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards. The two were allegedly getting a divorce, but something tells me it was probably a publicity stunt seeing that they are still together on the red carpet; and although papers were served in February, the divorce has yet to be finalized. Well, this is a great year for black entertainers, especially black women, according to Forbes List of the 20 Most Powerful Celebs. Forbes Magazine conducted a poll and tracked celebrities earning for the past year, and with no competition Oprah Winfrey tops the list by bringing in $315 Million. Beyonce comes in at a distant second, with $87 Million. Tiger Woods comes in at #5 with $105 Million, making more than Beyonce, but ranked lower.
NOTE: This list is not just based on income, but also a poll conducted by Forbes in which people voted on the celeb’s influence. So Beyonce is at #2 because of her fame and influence, although there are other artist who made more money…
