LeToya Luckett, my favorite ex-Destiny’s Child member, was spotted at the Highline Ballroom in NYC in her little black dress. Slim Thug also admitted on twitter of all places, that the reason him and LeToya Luckett broke up was because he cheated on her, and here’s the kicker: got another girl pregnant during the process. Oh well, he looks like his lost:
Our favorite diva, Whitney Houston was spotted in Beverly Hills on Bedford Drive. Other than the wig, she looks healthier. Honestly, it just may have been the wig that made her look so wild. Check out pictures of Whitney Houston before she went to the doctor’s office and after.
As reported earlier today, Corey Haim dies from a drug overdose. Now his best friend Corey Feldman releases a statement that really tugs at the heartstrings:
I was awakened at 8:30 this morning by my brother and sister knocking on my bedroom door. They informed me of the loss of my brother Corey Haim. My eyes weren’t even open all the way when the tears started streaming down my face. I am so sorry for Corey, his mother Judy, his family, my family, all of our fans, and of course my son who I will have to find a way to explain this to when he gets home from school. This is a tragic loss of a wonderful, beautiful, tormented soul, who will always be my brother, family, and best friend. We must all take this as a lesson in how we treat the people we share this world with while they are still here to make a difference. Please respect our families as we struggle and grieve through this difficult time. I hope the art Corey has left behind will be remembered as the passion of that for which he truly lived.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see what Shar Jackson will look like after Celebrity Fit Club is over. Bow Wow celebrated his 23rd birthday with Angela Simmons by his side. Like I said, I don’t know what she’s doing to him, but look at the smile on his face. Anyway Sandra Rose has some pretty cool pictures of the young couple celebrating Bow Wow’s birthday at the Gold Room in Atlanta.
Guess who else has something to smile about, actor Eddie Murphy. He has a new girl, no not a new child, a new girlfriend. I can say some mean things about him not seeing his daughter, Angel Iris, but instead I will say something positive. It’s nice that Eddie Murphy has an appreciation for black women. Corey Haim (38) died today of an overdose of prescription and illicit drugs, according to TMZ. Corey Haim collasped in his mother’s apartment, and four bottles of prescription drugs were found near his body, and other illegal drugs were also discovered at the scene.
For those of you who don’t know Corey Haim, he was one of the biggest teen stars during the 80′s, and starred in one of my favorite movies to date, Lucas. He often co-starred in movies with the other Corey, Corey Feldman. Corey Haim and Corey Feldman were significant part of the 80′s pop-culture films, and at the time were inseparable. Corey Haim also starred in the cult classic, Lost Boys. Gone, but certainly not forgotten.
DMX was arrested, again. This time it was related to drugs, again. The charges have not been released but during a court appearance DMX acts a fool, again. TMZ has a video of the former rap star turned actor, throwing a tantrum in court.
While DMX is battling his addictions, his lawyer’s is trying to get him on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. I guess his lawyer needs to get paid:
The details of the arrest are unclear — but the rapper’s lawyer Gary Jenkins tells us “He’s been battling addiction for some time and he’s in need of treatment.”
Jenkins also tells us, “We’re hoping that maybe Dr. Drew might be able to help him.”
Stars hit the red carpet at AMC Loews Lincoln Square Theatre for the premiere of Our Family Wedding, starring Lance Gross and America Ferrera. The movie is about an interracial couple from a black and latino backgrounds trying to bring their families and culture together for their wedding. From the previews this movie looks hilarious.
The movie also stars Forrest Whitaker, Regina King, and Carlos Mencia.Check out the red carpet arrivals for the film.

Fantasia Barrino decides to wear her little black dress to the wrong event. I’m waiting for Fantasia to evolve as an artist, but it seems she’s a one-trick pony with a great voice, but the kicking off the shoes and screaming across the stage is getting old. You’ve seen it once, you’ve seen it enough. I like the fact that she is raw, but sometimes you need more in concert than just shoes flying, besides Patti LaBelle has already been there and done that.
