Honestly, I don’t think we need a 12-page apology. Tiger Woods should keep it short and sweet like Russell Simmons on Def Comedy Jam, “I’m sorry I messed up, god bless, thank you for coming out, good night.” He is a serial cheater, but his endorsers are standing by him. His wife chooses to stay, too. So I guess we can all just move on now. I don’t have to stand by him, but my opinion and dollars really don’t matter. It’s not like I’m a real golf fan, anyway.
In case you missed it, here is the long apology from Tiger Woods for getting caught cheating, not once but too many times to count: (I forgive him, do you?)

This pissed my day…..I don’t think he owed any of “us” an apology. It was a private situation made public by the media. The very ppl that are saying…I don’t accept his apology need to drink the grape koolaid or kill themselves….This is so ridiculous……Can you tell I’m pissed? Lol

When I made my initial comment, I had only read the topic and lost my mind. This is after I read the whole thing. Sorry if I offended you, but that’s just how I feel. I don’t think he owes anything to anybody except Ellin and his children. The situation is none of our business.

@Deirdre B Pride,
Don’t apologize for how you feel, it’s all welcomed.
It wasn’t our business, but after the public lies and the police report, he opened the doors. It probably would have stayed private if it wasn’t for the accident. Perhaps, if he kept his “jump-offs” in check, it would have remained private.
We will see if he changes, I’m just glad I don’t have to sleep with him.

@Deirdre B Pride,
He is a dog, but so are half the men in my family. I am tired of people cheating, and acting like it’s no big deal. But, I also don’t think he personal life is his professional life. If Elin says, ok, then hey, she says ok.

I forgive Tiger. I forgive Chris Brown too. But the truth is, neither need nor require my forgiveness. It’s between man, God and those directly affected by the situation. I don’t like the way Tiger was treated by the media, but only because there are far more dire issues deserving of media attention. The world is imploding around us; no time for anymore distractions guised as real news.

@Kiesha,
I agree with you Keisha, the news has turned into a ratings generating machine. I started this blog as a hobby, not knowing it would turn into a business. I underestimated what the public wanted. The news is now focus on public interest instead of informing.

Sorry guys but I feel this is BS. Why should he apologise to the world? It’s STRICTLY between him and his wife. SIMPLE! Moving on please. It’s about time we realise
celebrities are living their lives not ours.
P.S: I don’t condone cheating but it happens! Such is life and most ladies have to start getting used to the fact that most men think with their d**ks!

@Udegbunam Chukwudi,
He should apologize because he’s a paid public figure, which means when he endorses a product he agrees to a certain moral standard. So when he falls, he does owe the public an apology, and it stops there. Either we forgive him or we don’t, but he certainly doesn’t need to be on the news 24-7, and he doesn’t need reporters searching through his trash. I think it’s been time to move on.

@MrsGrapevine 2, Looking @ it from the angle that he’s a paid public figure, I believe if the endorsements he signed required his being “morally upright” then he should most DEFINITELY apologise.
