It’s was a big emotional night for the actress, who managed to carve out a niche in Hollywood through out the years, although she was big and black. Mo’Nique has had her not so fair share of criticism, but last night felt redeemed by clinching the nomination for best supporting actress at this years’ Golden Globes awards. From bafoonery to guilded, Mo’Nique describes her journey in her acceptance speech, and thanks her husband Sidney Hicks: (That Mary J Blige song will make you cry).
*Side Note* – Meryl Streep was nominated twice in the same category for best actress, and won. She beat herself out for a Golden Globe win.
