Thank you very much for the link up and kind words. HIV is something that we all should take seriously. It amazes me how many people there are out there who refuse to get tested b/c they’re scared or just don’t think it’s relevant. AIDS is a disease with no vision…so it doesn’t care “who” it attacks. No one is invincible.

I’m glad that all the blogs are being proactive about this today. It truly makes my heart swell!

I don’t know if you know, but my father is HIV+. I have known for about 16 years. He has been + for longer than that, though I am not sure for how long. He doesn’t talk to me about it. He is healthy and, as far as I know, it has not turned into full blown AIDS. The thing that scares me most…he did say once that if it ever did turn into FB AIDS, he would not live like that (insinuating suicide). His partner is negative as far as I know. I wish more people were educated on the disease. The spreading of the disease is out of control, and the fear of those with the disease is ridiculous. I’m sorry for the loss of Pat, but I’m glad you are sharing your story!
