I sent an e-mail to his camp for a statement yesterday, and this morning, and finally at the end of the day, they released a statement on his website of all places. I don’t know what took him so long to respond and I’m going to give Marcus “Pleasure P” Cooper the benefit of the doubt, because there are several Marcus Coopers who could have been named in those court documents. I will apologize if I aided in spreading malicious rumors.
Now, I am more suspicious as to why his ex-band members hate him so much that they would say it was true:
The following statement was issued by Marcus Cooper p/k/a Pleasure P through his attorney Robert Meloni, Meloni & McCaffrey:
All of the recent rumors and accusations that are being circulated about me are 100% false. They are disgusting and vile; and they are being spread by individuals with their own sick agendas. The purported documents that are also being circulated are forgeries. I have never met or known anyone by the name of “AGoldstein” or Laura Goldstein or Ashley Goldstein, which I believe are fictitious names. I have never been represented by an attorney named Goldstein. For someone to go to such depths to assassinate my character and slander my good name is truly criminal. My attorneys are investigating this matter and will take all necessary and appropriate action to protect my name and reputation.“

After he left the group, they’re stock went waaay down, so maybe they did it out of spite, lol…i blame Spectacular!

That’s what makes it so sad, would a brother really do that to you over a music group. That’s something you do when you hate someone, not as a practical joke.
