T.I. has been released from Arkansas prison after serving seven months of a year and a day sentence. Unfortunately, he’s not quite free, yet. He will finish the remainder of his sentence, three months, in a half-way house closer to his home in Atlanta. I’m sure Tameka “Tiny” Cottle is singing Mariah Carey’s, All I want for Christmas Is You. Welcome home T.I. and Merry Christmas Tiny.
T.I. lawyer confirmed the release, and TMZ reported it earlier today:
T.I.’s lawyer, Steve Sadow, told the Atlanta-Journal Constitution that the rapper is expected to report to Dismas Charities Atlanta West in Georgia tonight — where he’ll live in a halfway house for the next three months.
After his sentence is completed, T.I. still has to complete 500 hours of community service and 23 days of home incarceration.
