The father of the young boy who accused Michael Jackson of molestation was found dead, an apparent suicide with self-inflicted gun wound. Evan Chandler, the father of Jordan Chandler, settle out of court for large sum of money, and left a stain on Michael Jackson’s career.
According to MTV, the Evan Chandler, the father suffered from a mental condition (which explains why he would let a grown man sleep in the same bed as his child):
Evan Chandler, 65, the father of a young boy who alleged that he was molested by Michael Jackson in 1994, was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in his luxury apartment in New Jersey earlier this month.
RadarOnline.com reported that Chandler’s body was found on November 5 by the concierge at his apartment building.
“There was no note found in the apartment, but officers did find medication in keeping with a serious medical condition,” a Jersey City police spokesperson told the site. Police said Chandler was found dead on his bed with a single gunshot wound to his head and a gun in his hand in what they believe was suicide. Police were sent to check on the gravely ill Chandler after he’d missed a doctor’s appointment.

What happens in the dark always comes to light. Seems like this man and his son had been at odds over this case and the money at some point. It’s a sad situation all around.
