UPDATE: Watch video below
Chris Brown is scheduled to do an interview with 20/20 on December 11th, on the heels of Rihanna. Many people are outraged and they think his career should be over because of the Rihanna assault. People are also outraged that Adam Lambert’s performance was canceled with Good Morning America, after his American Music Awards performance. So now people are complaining that ABC is discriminating against Adam Lambert because he is gay, yet supporting Chris Brown a hardened criminal.
I don’t care who you are, gay or straight, you can’t simulate “head” on a family show, and not expect there to be a backlash. Honestly, people were expecting the Rated PG-13 Adam Lambert, not the Rated X. I love Adam Lambert, even voted for him, but his sexual orientation has nothing to do with his performance being too wild for a general the audience.
Anyway, the interview was filmed last week, and will air Dec 11th, at 10/9c.
A little birdie told me, Usher is fighting with his management, better known as his mama, Jonnetta Patton. And no, the little birdie was not Tameka Raymond. Usher and his mother reconciled a year back, but word on the street is that Usher fired his management, I mean his mama , again. It looks like Usher is ready to sign some termination papers, too. Please don’t tell anyone, it’s suppose to be a secret.
I need Chris Brown and Usher Raymond to get it together. If they can’t, I need an artist to step up and take their place.

this is such a freakin double standard I can’t believe it teena turner got beat for years and ike still made music. your mistakes don’t make you any less talented. we are so quick to give drug addicts and all these reality frauds the spot light when they have NO talent but are trying to strip it away from somebody that earned it.. this is what i look at none of us have the right to judge that man or sentence him to anything he is clearly doing his time and remorseful for his wrong doing.. I wonder…. if he were to drop off the face of the earth then what.. let chris live his life and work on being a better man.. we are just as imperfect we just aren’t in the spotlight!!!!!

Chris deserves to be able to tell his side of the story. the media is only flocking to rihanna’s side because she’s female. there were reports of her kicking his ass for 2 years before the incident back in february and no one cared. I’m not saying what he did is right but there is no way that she is innocent of any wrong doing. even still she only waited to do the interview for publicity because it coincided with her album release. her album just flopped in the U.S. AND the U.K. i guess all those interviews she did bashing chris and trying to gain publicity for the album failed.
plus she’s admitted to violence before, including an interview in which she admits to smashing her own brother in the face with a glass bottle. if that’s not a sign i don’t know what is.Glamour named her one of their women of the year and for what? cuz she spent the last few months strutting the streets in heels?
on a brighter note: chris is predicted to go platinum, his singles are tearing up the charts, and he’s been doing sold out fan shows; he should be able to continue his career and life. Its sad that people want to see him fail because he and rihanna have suddenly become the poster children for domestic abuse. Its as if anyone who’s ever been slapped has suddenly become a rihanna fan. The argument isn’t even over them anymore, its about whether or not the public feels justified and its time to let it go.

You have two children who had abusive parents in the home, and two teens in their first love relationship. Things just kept escalating and no one knew how to get out. Chris Brown was caught red handed and while everyone calls him a monster, I’m glad he was caught the first time. Now he knows it’s in him, and honestly it’s in a lot of us, and now he can learn the signs, most importantly learn to redirect his anger.
This moment could have lead to a long history of abuse if it remained quiet, and unlike most stars in this position, he is talking. I don’t care anyone says, he is taking responsibility. The only thing I, wished he would have taken more time off from his career, and worried about an album at a later date.

Honestly I;m at a loss of words. You people are so jugemental, including you miss grapevine. What would you say if it was proved that rihanna had been hitting brown for months. Let me guess, turm the other cheek. Put your foot in you mouth pls.

@ lola:
Take a deep breath, I’m not calling him hardened criminal, that’s what other people are saying. If you’re a frequent reader of this blog, you will know that I defend both him and Rihanna. It doesn’t matter how many times she hit him in the past, it’s still wrong. He could have walked away, and now he’s paying for his part. If Rihanna was abusive, it will come to light and she will pay somewhere down the line.
If you read my blog you would know that I defend Chris Brown against the press, and I don’t believe in violence either way. If she was hitting him that’s wrong, and if he hit her that’s wrong, too. The only person that got caught hitting was Chris Brown, and he plead guilty.
So take it down a notch before you look obsessed, oh wait, it’s too late. Read the posts on this website because I have supported Chris and will continue to support Chris, unless he does something else.
