Eva Marcille of ANTM was able to convince this man, Lance Gross to put a ring on it, and I must say she is one lucky woman. Here are some very nice pictures of Lance Gross from a recent photoshoot. I don’t even have the details of this photoshoot or what he’s really promoting, but who cares, whatever it is…I’m sure all the women will be buying it.
Exclusive Movie Sneak Peek – Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire
When a movie comes out with a real plot and a bit of substance, I am happy to help promote it. Now, all of you who went to the movies to see Obsessed starring Beyonce, better be at the movies to support Precious. IN THEATERS NOVEMBER 6th…
Precious is a raw in your face drama based on the novel Push by Sapphire. It’s like Antoine Fisher times two. Both Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry have teamed up to produce this movie, and it’s not a typical Medea movie or a bad remake of a novel like Beloved. Precious is already creating Oscar buzz, and it has nothing but great reviews. The cast includes, new comer Gabourey Sidibe as Precious, Mariah Carey, Mo’Nique, Paula Patton, and Lenny Kravtiz. You will see each one of these entertainers in a way you have never seen them, they each transformed into their characters. Forget about Mariah Carey’s performance in Glitter, she will certainly earn her acting stripes in this film.
I’m begging you to support this movie because if you don’t there won’t be a market to create more great movies like this. Check out the trailer, and tell me it won’t be good:
Hill Harper At Aloft Dallas: Promotes New Book ‘The Conversation’
Hill Harper was in Dallas this past week-end to promote his new book, The Conversation, and MrsGrapevine.com was on the scene. The room was packed with both men and women, and in fact I think I saw way more men than women, and that’s rare. I guess the men figured if the subject was about relationships and Hill Harper then there should be plenty of women.
Hill Harper discussed what he learned about relationships and what drove him to writing a book about black love. If you haven’t found Mr. Right, then pick up a copy of The Conversation, because you may learn a lot about what men think of women.
Here are a few pics from the evening, I was trying to be really slick just so I can get some pictures for you…
