Here are some pictures from the 2009 Clinton Global Initiative at The Museum of Modern Art in New York City. The Global Initiative was started 5 years ago when Clinton became frustrated with just talking about the issues instead of solving them. This solution based initiative was launched to battle problems such as providing clean water, health care reform, climate change and economic development on a global scale. This year’s event was launched on Tuesday (Sept 22) with President Barack Obama as the headline.
