Well, the producers over at “American Idol” has chosen Paula Abdul’s replacement! Drumb roll please……….. it will be Ellen Degeneres!
“I’m thrilled to be the new judge on American Idol,” DeGeneres says. “I’ve watched since the beginning, and I’ve always been a huge fan. So getting this job is a dream come true, and think of all the money I’ll save from not having to text in my vote.”
“I’m going to have a day job and a night job,” she says. “The times we’re living in … we’re all doing that.”
I was actually a little surprised by this, especially since Ellen already has a day job. Don’t get me wrong, I like Ellen. I think she’s pretty fun and down to earth. But is her expertise in music really?
She’s got rhythm and she can dance but an idol judge? Idk, about this one guys. Guess, we’ll have to wait and see.
