The Global Initiative was started 5 years ago when Clinton became frustrated with just talking about the issues instead of solving them. This solution based initiative was launched to battle problems such as providing clean water, health care reform, climate change and economic development on a global scale. Taking someone’s life in inexcusable. However, given the circumstances how is giving a 16 year old girl who was abused, raped and manipulated by this man justice? I pray that with enough press and protest he sentence can be over turned and she can be given fair sentencing.
