In honor of Michael Jackson’s legacy he was remembered on, what would have been his 51st birthday, Saturday August 29th.
Spike Lee put together a celebration worthy of a king in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. Despite the rain, hundreds even thousands of people stood to listen to MJ’s music, watch intimatations of his dance moves, and listen to speeches given by public figures such as Reverend Al Sharpton.
According to eye witnesses it was truly a celebration they will not forget.
