Pride magazine would like to clear up the alleged statement Nia Long made about Beyonce Knowles lack of acting skills.

“Pride would like to apologies for the fact that editing of the final article may have left Nia’s comments open to tabloid manipulation.”
“As Europe’s premier publication for the woman of colour, Pride seeks only to celebrate the achievements of celebrities such as Nia Long and Beyonce Knowles, and hope no offence has been caused through the media speculation,” says Pride.
I’m actually impressed that the magazine editor decided to come forth and clear up Nia’s statement. It’s clear she didn’t imply Beyonce wasn’t a good actress and that in the editing process the statement was misinterpreted. Very mature of Pride. And there you have it.
