Nia Long would rather go nude than to wear fur. I have to say, I love this PETA concept, but did they have to rap her legs around a dirty subway pole. There are too many subliminal messages in this ad (um stripper) that I don’t know where to start, but I would actually rather wear fur than have my midsection on a subway pole, or any pole for that matter. I’m sorry I couldn’t resist, but I love Nia Long, and if she tells me not to wear fur, then I will not wear fun.
In being a responsible adult and really understanding what happens for one fur coat and how many animals are killed and slaughtered for one fur coat, it just isn’t worth it to me.
When I became a mother, I started to really understand the importance of all living creatures in a way that I didn’t ever think about before. And I’ve realized how important it is that we really take responsibility for … treating animals with love and care just like we would any human being. There’s no difference, in my opinion, [between fur and] slavery or the Holocaust. It’s just that we’re not dealing with human beings, we’re dealing with animals, but it’s still a living thing.
Taraji P. Henson knows cross over appeal is the best way to get those leading roles in blockbuster hits instead of those supporting ones. The first step is to appear marketable, and in this country that translates to sexy. I can confirm this one, Lisa Wu-Hartwell of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is losing her house due to foreclosure. What is going on in Atlanta, why are they the only housewives losing their homes? Everyone is putting on appearances and they are all in debt, or in other words, BROKE! If you spend more than you make then, yes, you are BROKE! They only person doing well is Kandi Burruss, but she’s not a housewife, and she’s has some relationship issues going on. Anway Lisa Wu-Hartewll was kicked out of the house she shared with husband Edgerton Hartwell, former Oakland Raiders linebacker, and the house has been sold. Usher’s new album will contain details about his “tumultuous” relationship with Tameka Foster, and he reportedly has a song entitled, Filing Papers. It does seem a bit weird to use the divorce as marketing for his new album, so fans please wait until the divorce papers are stamped, “final” and “closed”, before celebrating. SMH! But in Usher’s defense, he often weaves elements of his life into his songs. So, how is Usher doing this stage in his life with the divorce and all, according to him, Grrrrrreat!

Sara Stokes of Making The Band fame, was arrested for stabbing her husband during an accident. Although she appeared to be the only person with class on that season of MTB, I guess she learned a lot from her fellow cast mates. Now, there are two sides to this story, the first side is probably the truth, in which TMZ reports:
According to law enforcement sources, Sara stormed out of the house after arguing with husband Tony — she tripped, fell down and accused him of doing it.
We’re told Sara — who hurt her head in the fall — grabbed a knife and stabbed Tony in the arm — while their 3 kids watched.
The second side of the story is the PR spin, which came out shortly after the arrest:
Sara and Tony have a very passionate and loving relationship that on August 2, while having an evening of fun, she slipped and fell, hitting her head heavily on the ground and somehow in the process of helping her Tony got injured.
I agree with TMZ on this one, I don’t know how you “somehow” stab your husband after you fall. I blame it on LeToya Luckett’s new song, “I Don’t Want It Anymore”.
