I remember when Michael Jackson’s hair caught on fire during a Pepsi Concert in 1984. I have seen photos of Michael Jackson being carried away, but this is the first time I’ve seen up close footage of the accident. The King of Pop suffered second and third degree burns to head and scalp. I don’t think Michael Jackson ever recovered from that night:

@ Tamara:
It is very horrific. That’s why I posted it, that moment changed his life from the pain pills to the surgery. It wasn’t a small thing.

That is awful. I didn’t know it was that bad. That probably why he started taking pain medicine, and major plastic surgery.

This was far worse than how it was depicted in the media. This gives us a better understanding of what all he was dealing with. Poor thing.

@ AJ:
They always said it was bad, but from the pictures and the front angle, you could not see all of this. That was scary, and he stayed calm.

That’s really sad indeed to see this. Did we see the needle marks on his legs/ankles on last nights CNN? What really happened to our Michael?

Saw this for the first time on MSNBC today. Can believe how this may have been where the drug-related problems began.
