UPDATE: Nas in order to save face and act like he was by Kelis side while she was in labor, went on stage and announced that his son was born, hours (almost a day) before his son was actually born. He had the nerve to say don’t believe the media, when he was the one spreading lies for damage control. Wow! Anyway congratulations to Kelis, and we are on Team Kelis from here on out. Reps from Kelis’ camp has released this statement about the birth of Nas and Kelis’ son Knight Jones. Knight Jones, I’m kinda digging that name.
Kelis gave birth to Knight Jones last night on July 22nd around 9PM. Weighing a healthy 7.8lbs, the beautiful baby boy and his mother are doing wonderful. This was a natural birth and Kelis had been in labor since early Monday morning around 2AM. Knight was delivered in a NYC hospital with her mother and sister in the room.
Here’s What Kelis tweeted this morning:
Ok so I did it, he’s 7.8 pounds of the greatest stuff on earth…I was in labor for 3 of the longest most painful days of my life. I don’t understand when women say they don’t remember giving birth…I will remember for the rest of my life. He’s kinda perfect btw
I’m still shocked about the part where she was in labor for three days, unbelievable! Wow! I mean, imagine that kind of pain for 3 days, and she did it naturally! Kudos to Kelis, you are brave sista!

I believed everything Kelis was saying the whole time. A woman with general morals and principals is not gonna lie about something so embarrassing as a deadbeat soon to be dad/ ex-husband. If he was faithful, she would have stuck it out. Had he been supporting her financially throughout the melee, she wouldn’t have said he wasn’t. I say all the time that women will put up with alot, so when we throw in the towel, it must be really dirty.

I agree, but we didn’t here much from Nas camp, and Kelis was talking every where. But, we he blames the media and makes false statements to look good, he is definitely axed of the list. Now, all I can see is a trifling man. I hope I can get passed it to be more fair.
