I am happy that Chris Brown took the time to do this, and I’m glad he did not blame anyone, except himself. Some people will find something negative to say about his apology, but it seems like he’s trying to make a step in the right direction. What happened that night was wrong, and that’s not debatable, and I do feel their is more to learn from this situation from a role model perspective. I am not an advocate of throw the book at him, and I am not advocate of attacking the victim, either. For whatever reasons, publicity or sincereity, this needed to be said. I’m not on Chris Brown’s side, and I’m not on Rihanna’s side, I am on the side of all the fans who felt let down in the way this situation was handled.
