Rumors have surfaced suggesting that Brandy was dropped by her label, Epic Records. According to BV Buzz, the singer was dropped due to the poor performance of her last LP, HUMAN released on December 8, 2008. The album sold only 196,509 units to date, according to the Neilsen sound scan reports.
Make make matters worst, the 30 year old singer has also parted ways with Jay Z’s Roc Nation Management.Brandy and Roc Nation’s relationship suffered due to “artistic differences.”
According to a source, “Her friend Brandon Creed that works as an A&R representative at Epic Records has been making calls to see if other labels would be interested in signing her”.
