Fact:The Original Broadway Musical The Wiz Opened In 1975
This is a couple that we haven’t seen for a while. I remember a few months ago rumors were circulating that Ashanti was pregnant, and funny it doesn’t look like she’s pregnant to me. Nelly came out Opening Night to support his the leading lady, (playing Dorothy) in the The Wiz. I wasn’t sure if Ashanti could pull off a Dorothy, made famous on Broadway by Stephanie Mills, but I will say I’m interested. Although the reviews were mix, more like not that good, I think overall it’s worth supporting:
Review of Ashanti as Dorothy:
Like the revival itself, the over-the-title R&B diva is hit and miss—a mighty singer with a voice that soars, but a limited actress whose face registers apprehension, delight, anger, whatever, with scarcely a shift in expression.
Hence, Dorothy’s big number, “Home,” which can (and should) be a tear-jerking journey’s end to self-recognition, made for a dry-eyed finale.
Featured on the latest cover of Redbook magazine Jada Pinkett Smith reveals the secret to her successful 11 year marriage to husband will Smith.

I’m sure the woman knows what she’s talking about. After all, she and Will seem to be happy and committed to one another and making their marriage a lasting one .
But, I’m a litte curious. Is is really all about having good sex?!
According to Page Six, a New York club owner is upset with Beyonce after shelling out $300,000 to the pop singer for a contracted performance.
M2 owner Joey Morrissey agreed to pay the singer $200,000 for the gig, he says.
But on Wednesday, Beyoncé’s people suddenly pulled the plug on the performance, despite having signed a contract that had prompted Morrissey to spend $100,000 preparing for the show, according to the clubowner. “They said they were too busy with the launching of the tour and that they wouldn’t have time to do the kickoff party,” Morrissey tells Page Six.
To make up for the cancellation, Morrissey says Beyoncé offered to stop by the club “to hang out for an hour” on Sunday. He adds, “I mean, we sold tables for thousands of dollars for the show, and spent $100,000 renting a soundboard and other equipment, as per their stipulations. What good does her showing up for an hour do me? They’ve been totally unwilling to agree to another show.”
As a result, Morrissey says he’s now preparing to file suit against Beyoncé
I’m sorry there is no exciting news regarding Rihanna, just a picture of her walking in the rain in a leopard raincoat. This is what it has come to: Me posting pictures of Rihanna just doing everyday normal stuff. Another day goes by and no singing and no performances. I think we should just label her a “model” and call it a day. There were pictures earlier today of Rihanna in some rolled-up skinny jeans, and I just couldn’t bring myself to post them. But these are exciting because it’s rain and a leopard coat. *sarcasm – sigh*

by the O’Jays and everything!!!!! Moms deserve that love, but right now I’m shouting out to real dads.
Some are great role models with real academic achievements. Some are not. Some are no longer alive. Some fathers are locked up, but they are praying for their kids and hoping to be on the streets soon and be betters dads 1 day.
We deserve the love!!! Becuz we don’t even expect it, we do what we do regardless! With no signs of a reward for it. We put up with everything, standing true to what’s real and letting life take its courseprotecting our household, our woman, our children, our family. Protecting and leading a nation. Shout out to my pops, a great man! Blessings to our granddads who came b4 us who laid the seeds and the foundation….I wish every dad take a minute to look at what’s he’s done…just a minute…No need to glance too long.. Just smile.

This is too funny because I know I’ve seen this guy on I Love New York, with the nickname of “Punk”. He’s now engaged to Jennifer Hudson, and due to have a baby with her soon. Now, he is a wrestler. His wrestling name is Dawson Alexander Esq, and yes, this man also graduated from Harvard Law. At least he has a fall back option. Out of respect to Jennifer Hudson that’s all I’m going to say about him…
Rapper The Game and actress Stacey Dash were spotted on location in Hollywood shooting the movie House Arrest. Dash’s character is said to be a high maintenance woman who falls for a quick scheming hustler.
Interesting combo, I wouldn’t of thought to put Stacey Dash and The Game as each other’s love interest but for the part I guess it works.
However, this part sounds much too familiar! Yawn…..
