The BET awards was soooo ignorant. I am in disbelief of how unorganized something that should have been so special and memorable turned out to be.Most ignorant: Lil Wayne and Young Money with those PRE-ADOLESCENT GIRLS onstage dancing to that ratchett song. Smh. Worst performance: Ciara, sounded like and injured wolf cub howling for help. Best performance: Jay-Z Death of Autotune. Best MJ “tribute” performance:Ne-Yo Lady of My Life.

Hey Guys.Your right. I dont think the show was all that either as far as the tribute to MJ. They could have done alot better than that. It seemed very all over the place and unorganized.
Beyonce played herself with that whole performance and Jamie Fox really over did it the entire time but there was more good stuff than mentioned.
Anyway I was hoping that because they were BET they were gunna represent for MJ better. I got bored and stopped watching the whole thing though.

The whole O’Jays tribute was good from Don Cornelius to Eddie Levert’s censor slip.

i was routing for them…only to be disappointed. and TINY!! who let her ass accept that damn award…bad idea; only thing that saved this show was Levert saying SHIT!

That still doesn’t explain why Usher and Justin Timberlake were missing, shoot, even Omarion and B2K would have worked.

I still can’t figure out a lot of choices, and I know it’s hard judging from the outside, but sometimes less is more. Less Lil Wayne, and more Chris Brown controversy would have been nice.

Why can’t our folk do this in an admirable fashion? Well, I guess first you have to acknowledge that it’s BET. That in and of itself is off-putting enough.

I only caught some of the show. Was all of it as garrulous and borish?

Usher didn’t perform, right? I though he and Justin Timberlake were glaring omissions if this was supposed to be a tribute to MJ. BET should have “manned up” and let Chris Brown do his thing, as well. Can you imagine all three of them on stage at the same time hittin’ some Michael Jackson?! Now that would’ve been worth watching!

Jamie, please pick a profession and develop it to its fullest. You’re pretty mediocre at comedy as well as singing right now, brah.

I’m embarrassed to be of the same race as Dwayne Carter. (I refuse to call a grown, talentless by his stage moniker on the night that a giant such a MJ was supposed to have been honored.)

I am so hurt right now! Seriously hurt…how could they call that a tribute to MJ. That foolery was embarassing. The only good parts were Beyonce and Trey Songz, Tyrese, and Johnny Gill. Horrible! Well leave it to the white ppl to do it “right”!
