Don’t even ask me how to pronounce her name, but Ida Ljungqvist is the 50th Playmate of the Year, and she is from Tanzania (that’s in Africa). Actually, her father is Swedish and her mother is Tanzanian. Not only is she a lady of color, but she is the first person from Africa to win the convenant title of Playmate of the Year. Her last name aint hard to pronounce, is one of the most common names in Sweden. The best way i can make it phonetic is like this: young-quiz-t. But young would actually be pronounced more like you-ng, then you got the the exact pronunciation.

I gotta agree, she’s beautiful…but why would a beautiful girl like her want to have such a horible reputation, posing naked and all. isn’t it us, women, who are always crying out for being humiliated and yet here we are having one of us humiliating not only herself but us all. Well I gotta say I’m feeling bad that she’s my countrymate!

People think they know Playmates of the Month (and in this case Year), but they don’t. They are consistently very smart, college-educated and have very good business sense. They also tend to be warm, humble, caring and good human beings. Surprisingly they are very close to their families and their families are very supportive of them. They tend not to be stuck up or messed up like Hollywood celebrities. I think they are very good role models because they show girls can be smart and in charge of their life as well as be confident in their beauty and sexuality. If you are a prude about nudity then I guess that would include most academy award nominated actresses. Playmates of the Year are chosen based on how they handle questions and host events. Yes she has an incredible body, but so do all Playmates of the Month. I think Playmates are truly awesome and deserve our respect.
